2019!

Ok ok, I know, I’ve been slack on the website front lately. Did I mention we had Jason join us on Bass Guitar? Well, he’s a ABSOLUTE gun and has taken Shake-Ya-Tree to a whole new level. Jason’s energy is great, his playing is great, and he’s great to be on stage with – so a very warm welcome to Jase!

We also had a new logo made a while back, thanks to Callan’s sister Narelle for taking the time to help us with some artwork. We love it!

We’ve got a few new venue’s for 2019. First up Chris and Callan are playing Acoustic at Colonial Brewery in Port Melbourne on Jan 20th, then the band is on the road to Shepparton to play at the Aussie Hotel on Feb 8th. We’re also bringing our full band show to the Altona RSL for the first time on July 4th. Keep an eye on our events page for more details.

Until we see you next, Keep Shakin’! Cheers, SYT.

Acoustic Sundays @ Cafe Boutique

Here I was thinking summer was never going to come, but we’ve finally got some good weather and the Sunday acoustic sessions at Cafe Boutique have kicked off.

Callan and Paul joined Mary Ann last Sunday to kick things off and provide some laid back music to enjoy your Sunday lunch.

This Sunday (4th Dec) will be Chris, Callan and Paul, with Mary Ann returning on the 11th. We hope to see you there.

2017 Seddon Festival

We’re excited to announce that we’re making our Seddon Street Festival debut on the 4th of March, 2017.

The festival has continued to grow over the last few years, moving to a full Street Festival about 5 years ago, and provides entertainment for the whole family.

You can catch us on the main stage around midday, as well as see many other talented locals grace the stage throughout the day.

Stay tuned to the Seddon Festival website for details of the headline act which will be announced soon.

Welcome Lou!

We’re so excited to have Lou joining us on drums for our upcoming shows before Christmas. Lou and Chris have a long history of playing together, including holding a residency at the Swan Hotel for many years as part of the ‘Love Handles’. Lou is a master of time, a drum teacher and also a great bloke and we’re ecstatic to have him on board.
